Rampur, the erstwhile capital of the princely state of Bhushur, is a beautiful town situated on the banks of the Sutlej River, on the India-Tibet Road, in Himachal Pradesh. It is 132 km north-east of Shimla, at an altitude of 924 m. Places of tourist interest include the gabled Padam Palace, Raghunath Temple and Narsingh Temple. Hadimba Devi Temple, Hadimba Devi Temple is dedicated to the wife of Bhim, one of the five Pandava brothers in the Indian epic Mahabharata.
