Your incredible adventure in Bir-Billing starts with meeting your experienced trekking guide in Bir. The guide will hike with you to the base camp after breakfast, and upon settling in and setting up camp, enjoy some free time to enjoy the splendid view of the mountain range, walk in the crisp cool air at those incredible altitudes, or even go for a refreshing nature walk. Tea and snacks will be provided at the campsite. Spend the rest of the day getting to know your fellow trekkers, then enjoy a grand bonfire session in the evening. Here, get a chance to discover the local color with board games, dancing, and more. Climb up to the hilltop, and reward yourself with stunning views of a vast sky full of stars – a wonderful experience for stargazers beginner and experienced alike! After dinner, sleep under these stars to prepare for the next day. Enjoy some delicious breakfast to prepare yourself for the rest of the day then hike to Bir for the paragliding session. Bir Billing stands as one of the finest paragliding locations in the world, second only to the world famous Lake Como, and this is one opportunity you shouldn’t miss! With the help of experienced pilots that will ride with you, take off from a high vantage point, right off the edge! Soar over the breathtaking views, seeing trees, streams rolling below, and the beautiful mountain range. Your glider’s parachute will then set down at Bir itself, concluding this once in a lifetime adventure.
Tour Itinerary
Pickup from Pathankot railway station and drive to Dharamshala. Arrival at Dharamshala transfer to hotel. Visit Honable Dalai Lama Temple, Bhagsu waterfall, Dal lake and St. John Church and night stay at Dharamsala.
Check out and drive to Bir (World famous Take off point for Paragliding). On the way visit kangra Museum, Norbulingka art Gallery, Maa Chamunda Temple, Palampur tea garden and Lord Shiva Temple Baijnath and night stay at Bir Hotel.
In the morning drive to Billing. Enjoy Paragliding tandem ride 20 to 30 minutes and landing at Chougan. Enjoy Lunch at Bir (Chinese food options). After lunch local sightseeing in Buddhist Monasteries, Deer Park, Bir Tea Garden & Local Tibetan market where u can buy Tibetan Handicraft and Tibetan related things and night stay at Bir.
Check out and drive to Barot, Barot packs on enormous range of outdoor activities. The Reservoir of Jogindernagar Hydel Power project is located here. A Trout Breeding centre makes it a wonderful place for angling. Acrpss the river Uhl is the Nargu Wildlife Sanctuary home to the Ghoral, Himalayan black bear and variety of Pheasants. Dinner and night stay at Barot Uhl River.
Angling and depart for Pathankot drop.
Check out and enjoy Trout fish angling in Uhl river. After lunch departure to Pathankot railway station with unforgettable memories of Himachal Pradesh.
