Trek to Rajgundha which is a very beautiful location at Barot valley. This is a lonely place with beautiful landscapes, Uhl river, old style villages and forests. Half the trek is by taxi and half is on foot. You can choose between camping or hotel stay. Duration of tour 3 nights / 4 days.
Camping and trekking in beautiful Barot valley. Beautiful cedar forests, Uhl river full of trout fishes, lakes are some of main attraction of Barot valley. It is lonely place away from busy life of cities and best for camping and trekking. Barot to Rajgundha trek is short trek of about 14 k.m & is very beautiful, about 10 K.M. is approachable by road. Rajgundha lies beside Uhl River and have very beautiful landscapes.
Tour Itinerary
On arrival to Barot camp site at evening (after 4 PM), welcome tea and snacks, Visit nearby places like Barot market, cedar forest, crop fields and Uhl river. Dinner and then camp fire, overnight say in camps.
After breakfast visit to Barot village where you can see Himalayan culture and old style houses after that a short trek to Jalan village through thick forest and then to big lakes in Barot. Back to camp, have lunch. rest for some time. A view at Rajgundha : After lunch prepare to trek to Rajgundha. First we shall travel in taxi up to Bara gram village and then on foot about 4 Kms. After reaching Rajgundha have tea and snacks. At night have dinner and campfire. Staying overnight in tents.
Trekking to Rajgundha
After breakfast visit nearby beautiful places of Rajgundha near Uhl river. Have lunch at noon and after that trek back to Barot camping site through beautiful villages, forests, water streams and crop fields Reach campsite at evening. Have tea and snacks. Soup and dinner at night. Overnight stay in camps.
Breakfast and departure with beautiful memories of tour. It’s time to bid adieu to the trails of mountains and head back home. Enjoy breakfast on the last day of your camping trip and be dropped of at the Bus Station in Barot. You can continue stay if you really love Barot valley.
